Public Catalyst is a project to seek the possibility of the morphology of urban public space in the future and try to maximize space value for the society, economy, culture, and natural environment instead of the current urban public space. The research was based on the Melbourne city data and the result of the city form was tested by the variety of different types of functional space and open space in 24-hours and decades.This project is a dimension of the new narrative for public spaces is a move away from urban design as a search for an idealized blueprint for the perfect public realm. While seeking the method of offering value of the urban public space, some architectural space quality is generated by computerized aggregation through specific rules. The diversity of public typology used to stand for the different public requests and functional uses, the buildings' component designs in different scales along with the opposite space using, all of the components are used to aggregate the city by the space data computation. There are 4 different combinations of public space used to enhance urban value which is "Innovation lab", "Just do it", "Embracing consumption" and "Resisting homogenization".
