The post business district is comprised of several self-organising systems that undermine the idea of a centralised city entirely. Where the old city was stuck in a static reflection of the 21st Century's skyscraper revolution, the post business district is forever animated. She breathes easily over 24 hours, no longer having to take sharp breaths with the uneven distribution of program that plagued the old city. Now she never goes to sleep; just shifts her weight around to accommodate the shifting needs of her inhabitants. The post business district does not aim to achieve any final form; just as the systems that formed her were conceived with the intent to overwrite the existing city, these rules may also be overwritten in time as well. This new city is a laminated, fossilised, and constantly evolving organism where, if you bury deep enough, you'll find the remnants of decades past, intact but not intentionally preserved. She can receive input data, updating herself and recalibrating where necessary in order to sustain the unpredictable humans that inhabit her streets, reflecting our collective, agglomerative, ever-changing history.
